Sweet and Sour Tilapia
I made this a few months ago and I always forget to post it. Anyway, this type of dish is great for any type of fish out there. Just change the fish and use the same type of sauce. This sauce is great for any fish out there and can add a little something different for fried fish. Here is the recipe.
Fry the fish. In this dish I use Tilapia.
For the sauce, you need to saute the garlic, onion, ginger and then carrots. Add vinegar afterwards. It depends on you on how much vinegar you want and how many fish you are frying. Add sugar afterwards and again it depends on you on how it would taste. Remember to use your palette when adding ingredients. Your tongue is your guide when you are cooking. To thicken the sauce add some cornstarch with water. Remember to mix cornstarch with cold water before you add it to your sauce. When you like the thickness of the sauce, you can now serve it with the fish. Easy!
Try it out now and you'll be surprise how this sauce can change the way you cook fried fish.
